THE NOBLE GASES


2.5      recall the noble gases (Group 0) as a family of inert gases and explain their lack of       reactivity in terms of their electronic configurations

Noble gases are a family of inert or very unreactive gases. They are inert because they already have a full outer shell of electrons. They do not need to lose or gain electrons so they are very stable.
